Every RPG has, to some degree, a method of equipping the members of your party. In some games you give them weapons and armour; in others you can customize armaments with additional effects; in yet others equipment is ignored entirely in favour of enhancing items. Child of Light falls into this final category, relying entirely on oculi to bolster a character's stats.
Appearing as gleaming crystals that can be both found in the field and crafted in the Oculi menu, oculi are fairly versatile. Each bestows one of three distinct effects, depending on where they're equipped on a person's body, and they can be combined to form stronger oculi, to a maximum of four tiers of power. Oculi can make all the difference in a heated battle, and thus it's a wise idea to experiment with them to see which oculi work with which characters.
Below is a list of the oculi of Child of Light, separated by tier. Every oculus on the list can be created with the three base oculi listed immediately below, though be warned - you'll have to do a lot of crafting to reach the highest tier.

Rough Sapphire
