Part 25: Laverre City and Laverre City Gym
Six badges! You're so close to the Pokémon Championship you can almost taste it. There are other concerns first, though, and one of them is touring Laverre City's Poké Ball Factory. Shauna and Trevor intercept you as soon as you complete Laverre City Gym, and they insist on looking the place over. Team Flare is currently blocking the gate to Route 15, so you might as well pay the Factory a visit. You'll find the Poké Ball Factory in the north of Laverre City, though it, too, is blocked by a member of Team Flare. Speak to Shauna and she'll lead the guard on a merry chase, opening the way inside the Factory. Search the two hedge mazes flanking the entrance for a Max Revive and a Max Ether. You can also find a hidden Burn Heal and a Poké Ball in the left maze and a Hyper Potion in the right. Check the alleyway on the west side of the Factory and you'll find a path to a hidden Dusk Ball.
Head inside and you'll run into another Team Flare Grunt, though your neighbor will distract them for you. Head up onto the walkways the Grunt was guarding and you'll run into a third Grunt. There's no avoiding a fight this time.
Team Flare Grunt
The Grunt will block you, despite being defeated. Use the bronze walkways to get onto the conveyor belt. The belt will shuttle you left, to another Grunt. Check along the conveyor belt to the north of this Grunt and you'll find a Quick Ball in the corner of the factory floor.

Backtrack to the conveyor belt and ride it until it dumps you near another Grunt. You don't have to fight her, but... you know. If you check between the walkways and the conveyor belt to the right of this Grunt the camera will tilt, revealing a Metal Coat at the end of a short path.

Backtrack to the north. Hop back on the conveyor belt and it will ferry you to the southeast. Check north of your departure point, before going up the nearby stairs, to find a Timer Ball. Then climb the stairs up to the walkways above the conveyor belts. Walk north and you'll be blocked by a Grunt as you try to take the northeastern path.
Team Flare Grunt
- Swalot, level 38
Run west of the Grunt. You'll find a small room full of captives. A girl in here will rest and restore your team. Follow the walkways south of this office and you'll find a computer that will reverse the direction of the conveyor belt. Hop on the conveyor near the computer and debark once you can see a Grunt to the north. Up the nearby stairs you'll find an office, and inside you'll encounter the upper echelons of Team Flare.

You're not done yet. Now the Scientists of Team Flare are up to bat, and Calem / Serena will jump in to lend a hand.

Team Flare Celosia and Team Flare Bryony
What a sad little pair. Your neighbor's Mewostic will start off using Fake Out, giving you one turn to wipe out the Liepard without taking any abuse in return. Take advantage of this by hitting Liepard with a Fairy-, Bug- , or Fighting-type move. Then the two of you can gang up on the Manectric. So long as you don't try to use any Electric-type moves, which will be intercepted by Manectric's Lightning Rod Ability, this fight is a piece of cake.

After the fight's over, the factory's owner will offer you one of two prizes: A Master Ball or a Big Nugget. The Big Nugget is worth a lot of money if sold, but, well, frankly, you're crazy if you don't take the Master Ball. It allows you to catch any Pokémon without fail, including legendary Pokémon.
(You get both of them in the end anyway. Silly.)
Removing Team Flare from the Poké Ball Factory will kick them out of Laverre City altogether, allowing you to proceed to Route 15 via the city's southeastern gate. The journey continues.
