In order to trigger this quest you must first fix up the cable car that runs between Meadow Range and Glaze Iceberg. This requires getting Approval Badge 2 and collecting a slew of gold and minor materials, so it can take a while. Once you have access to Glaze Iceberg a request from Reyner will appear on the Bulletin Boards of Moonbury Town, asking you to stop by Bulk and Build, his store, between 8:00 and 15:00.
Stop by the store - it's on the west side of Moonbury - and Reyner will complain that his old drafting table isn't good enough to complete the projects he wants to explore. He asks you to get him materials that will allow him to set up a new, better drafting table, one that will allow him to build you furniture. Sounds good.
Reyner needs two sets of ingredients to construct his new drafting table:
- First up are five Sweet-Tasting Saps. These are found in the dark-green trees that sparsely cover select parts of Glaze Iceberg. You'll find more of them near the North of Glaze Iceberg Fast Travel point.
- Second are ten Sour-Tasting Saps. The orange trees in Glaze Iceberg drop these, as do the red trees back in Meadow Range.
Snag all of the components and take them back to Reyner. He's usually at his store, though not always. He'll create a new drafting table for himself, resulting in Carpenter Upgrade 1. This will allow Reyner to create and sell a wide variety of small furniture items that you can use to decorate your home. As with Reyner's other services, however, you'll need to supply both Wood and Rocks along with money if you want to buy anything.
