After watching Opalheart prove that she does, indeed, have a heart, you can continue to upgrade your relationship with her. Opalheart remains deeply tied to the Hearts and Sparks Shop in western Moonbury, and you're more likely to find her there than anywhere else in the town, save perhaps her home. The shop is typically closed if she's not there, so you may need to send your dog on a mission to track Opalheart down during the later hours of the day.
Max out the second level of your relationship with Opalheart and you'll see a fresh notice on the Bulletin Boards around town. They're from Nova, and she's inviting anyone who wants custom-tailored clothes to stop by Silky Stitch Tailor's, her shop. Drop by between 10:00 and 17:00, any day of the week, to watch the resulting cut scene play out.
Opalheart is busy ordering a smithing apron for her daughter, Runeheart, and wants it in green. That'll require some special materials, of course, and Opalheart drags you into the process. You'll need to bring Nova a handful of items to make the apron:
- Five Drake Aloes. Drake Aloe grows in Barren Wasteland, and you'll need to complete the Drake Aloe quest to make it grow. This requires completing most of the game's main storyline, so... you may have to put the quest off, depending on how far in you've gotten.
- Ten Hard Shells. Hard Shells are dropped by the beetle-like Hardshells, also found in Barren Wasteland.
Bring the materials to Nova and she'll tell you to check in the next day to pick up the Blacksmith Apron. Stop by during the store's hours of operation (11:00 to 17:00, closed on Sundays) and she'll hand it over. Take it to Runeheart - like her mother, she spends most of the day in or around Hearts and Sparks - to end the quest, as well as move your friendship with Opalheart to the third level.
