The first non-storyline area you'll enter if you're playing as Ochette, the North Beasting Traverse serves to connect the population of Toto'haha with the rest of the world. It's a straightforward little route that will give Ochette some experience as she prepares to leave for the larger continents of Solistia.
The North Beasting Traverse connects the Beasting Village, and everything south of it, to the Beasting Bay: Anchorage in the north. The anchorage allows you to travel to the other two continents. You can also use the anchorage's eastern exit to reach the Western Tropu'hopu Traverse. If you follow the western beach you'll find a dock, and you can use it to sail out to the Cavern of Waves, a Danger Level 48 dungeon.

Treasure - North Beast Traverse
- Just south of the path to the Beasting Bay: Anchorage you'll hit a beach. If you go west along the beach you'll find a small ruin with a chest inside. The chest contains an Inspiriting Plum (M).
- On the left side of the beach as you run either north or west you'll find a chest. It contains an Empowering Lychee.
- East of the chest with the Empowering Lychee you'll find stairs. They lead up to a chest containing a Wind Soulstone.
- In the south you'll find a save point to the north of the entrance to the Beasting Village. On the approach to the save point the path will split. If you take the lower path and cross beneath the path with the save point you'll find another, smaller beach. The chest on this beach contains a War Axe.
Treasure - Beasting Bay: Anchorage
- If you check along the beach as you head west of the docked ship you'll see a chest on a small island. You can walk out and pop open the chest to receive some Slumber Sage.
- Running alongside the western hill out of this area is a sandy path to the north.
- As you climb the western hill towards the Western Tropu'hopu Traverse you'll spot a chest on your left. It contains a Healing Grape (M).
NPCs - Beasting Bay: Anchorage
- There's an Islander standing just south of the ship off the island. He has a War Glaive and an Energizing Pomegranate in his possession.
- Standing on the ship's dock is a Ferry Staff. She has a Bottle of White Powder that's part of a Side Story, as well as a Handkerchief and a Heavy Coin Pouch, in her possession.
