If you make the long trip south of Wandering Sword's starting locations you'll find a small hamlet known as Jinli Village. Look in the north of the village - which is, we must stress, quite small - and you'll find a woman named Xiaodie. Speak to her to begin this quest.

Xiaodie has a sweetheart, and his attempts to join the military keep ending in failure. She wants to bolster his spirits by getting him an Exquisite Coin that he has wanted for a while. Alas, the best place to find them - aside from treasure chests - is a big city, and Xiaodie doesn't have any chests to search for. Should we go buy one?


Nope! Observe the shed next to Xiaodie. There's a faint glimmer of sparkles floating out of the rear of the shed. This is the telltale sign of a chest, and if you look behind the shed you can open it. The chest contains Jinchuang Ointment, a Hexa-Curve Plate, and an Exquisite Coin. That was easy. Give Xiaodie the coin to receive your reward.
